New 'Shaman King' trailer reveals Netflix premiere this 2021

It looks like the new "Shaman King" anime series is headed to Netflix!

The streaming giant just released a trailer on the Netflix Anime YouTube channel, revealing that it is set to premiere sometime this 2021.

The series follows Yoh Asakura, who is aiming to become the next Shaman King.

The Shaman King is the one who can contact the king of spirits and reshape the world. Every 500 years, shamans, who can commune between the worlds of the living and dead, compete in the Shaman Fight to become the next Shaman King.

The rebooted series will adapt all 35 volumes of the manga by Hiroyuki Takei, which was serialized in Japan's Weekly Shonen Jump starting 1998 until it was cancelled in 2004.

It was first adapted into anime in 2001. —JCB, GMA News
