Old beds at PGH COVID-19 ward converted into 'flower beds' as tribute to frontliners

A special garden was set up at the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) as tribute to frontliners who have been working hard amid the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a report on State of the Nation on Tuesday.

Old and discarded hospital beds have been converted into flowerbeds.

The 12 hospital beds are from the COVID ward of the PGH that symbolize the 12 months of hard work against the pandemic.

The installation art is called "Whispering Flower Bed" that was constructed by well-known sculpture and painter Toym Imao.
