This pre-debut shoot recreated iconic scenes from Studio Ghibli films

A debutante from General Santos City recreated some of the most iconic scenes from Studio Ghibli films for her 18th birthday photoshoot.

In a viral Facebook post, Ric Sherwin Verzosa of Vintage Dream Photography shared photos of his client, Gwen Mendevil, channeling her inner Ghibli heroine.

Among the characters Gwen cosplayed include Naoko from "The Wind Rises," Sophie from "Howl's Moving Castle," Kiki from "Kiki's Delivery Service," and "Whisper of the Heart."

According to Ric, he did a Ghibli movie marathon to perfectly capture the ideal look for the shoot.

Studio Ghibli is a Japanese animation film studio popular for its beautiful visuals and heart-melting stories.
