Watch your favorite local, international movies for free on 'I Heart Movies' digital channel

GMA Network is set to launch "I Heart Movies," a new channel for movie enthusiasts.

According to the online press conference on Monday, the channel is a one-stop shop for cinephiles and will feature both local and international films.

"It's a channel for everybody to enjoy," said GMA First Vice President for Program Management Joey Abacan.

He said that foreign movies will be Tagalized so they would be more accessible to Filipinos.

"Kasi kahit ako, sometimes whenever I watch some movies na actually quite cerebral, hindi ko rin naiintindihan kaya gusto kong panoorin in Tagalog," he said.

Aside from dubbing, old movies will be enhanced for a better viewing experience but the "I Heart Movies" team has already collated several films that still have good quality.

The catalogue includes movies from local and international outfits such as GMA Films, Disney, Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros. Pictures, and Columbia Pictures, to name a few.

"I Heart Movies" will be launched on April 5 through GMA Affordabox, GMA Now, and other digital television boxes. —MGP, GMA News
