'The Suicide Squad' releases thrilling new trailer

Shortly after dropping its red band trailer, "The Suicide Squad" is back with an explosive theatrical trailer.

The two-minute video gives more screen time for the other supervillains such as Polka-Dot Man (David Dastmalchian), TDK (Nathan Fillion), and Ratcatcher 2 (Daniela Melchior).

And of course fans were treated to more of Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), and the rest of the ensemble including Bloodsport (Idris Elba) and Peacemaker (John Cena).

Viola Davis also returns as Amanda Waller.

Helmed by "Guardians of the Galaxy" director James Gunn, the film follows a collection of the most degenerate delinquents in the DC lineup.

"The Suicide Squad" is set to hit theaters and HBO Max on August 6. —JCB, GMA News
