Andi Eigenmann reveals reason they started their YouTube vlog as they hit 2M subscribers

Andi Eigenmann's Happy Island Fam vlog has reached 2 million YouTube subscribers and on Instagram, she commemorated the milestone by revealing the reason why she and her family started their own YouTube vlog in the first place.

"2M on youtube!!!" She enthusiastically began her caption. "We posted our first vlog last January of 2020, because Philmar thought it would be fun to share snippets of our island life to everyone," she said tagging her fiance Philmar Alipayo.

"We kept going because we figured it would be a great way to influence others to care more for our environment too," she added.

Andi said they also want their YouTube channel "to show how living simply can bring so much joy. How true happiness doesnt have to come from extravagant things, and show that little acts of kindness could definitely go a long way!"

According to Andi, they never expected their vlog project to blow up and "receive this much love and support from all of you!"

She continued, "It was your acceptance and love that keep us going. We are so so soo grateful to you all!

Andi has been documenting fragments of their lives both on the island as well as their long stretch in the city last year to show on their vlog.

It's become quite a success that recently, Andi had to defend and explain herself after she refused to take selfies with tourists.

Andi has been living in Siargao with her fiance, Philmar Alipayo, and her three children, Ellie, Lilo, and Koa.

Koa and Lilo are her children with Philmar, while her eldest, Ellie, is her daughter with Jake Ejercito. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
