‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’ introduces Mini-Pufts in new teaser

There are new characters in the Ghostbusters universe and they’re the cutest thing ever!

In the character reveal for “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” shared by Sony Pictures Entertainment on Wednesday, Paul Rudd could be seen getting ice cream from a store freezer.

As he was about to leave, he was stopped by moving marshmallows called Mini-Pufts.

According to a Screen Rant report, Mini-Pufts are miniature versions of the Stay-Puft Marshmallow man who’s been present since the first movie.

The film circles around a new chapter after the original Ghostbusters story.

“When a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind,” said the video’s description.

Directed by Jason Reitman, “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” is set to be released later this year. – Franchesca Viernes/RC, GMA News
