'Hospital Playlist' Season 2 to premiere this June

The second season of the hit Korean drama series "Hospital Playlist" is set to premiere this coming June!

The show will return this June 17 at 9 p.m. KST or 8 p.m. in Philippine Time, according to a Soompi report on Thursday.

In preparation for the premiere, tVN released a behind-the-scenes video showcasing the original lead cast members, Jo Jung Suk, Yoo Yeon Suk, Jung Kyung Ho, Jeon Mi Do, and Kim Dae Myung, reuniting for a script reading session.

In the video, cast members expressed excitement as they greeted one another.

Before starting the script reading, Director Shin Won Ho said as translated by Soompi, “The simple and everyday stories that we have told until now will be drawn out with even more warmth and depth.”

"Hospital Playlist," a medical drama series released last 2020, revolves around five doctors who have been good friends for years. While sharing the same passion for music, these characters showcase the everyday lives of people at the hospital.

Last December, "Hospital Playlist" star Jung Kyung-ho shared an uplifting message to Filipino frontliners amid the pandemic.

"I heard that the medical staff and the other frontliners in the Philippines are also suffering a lot from the pandemic...We are going through hard times together," he said.
