BTS wants to visit the Philippines 'as soon as possible'


BTS is missing the Philippines and is looking forward to seeing the Filipino ARMYs soon.

At their launch as Smart Communications’ ambassadors on Thursday, the group expressed how much they wanted to visit the country.

“I heard that there are a lot of ARMYs in the Philippines. I’d like to see you as soon as possible,” V said in a video message shown to the press.

“I always want to see [you] with good music and performances after the [COVID-19] is over,” he added.

Meanwhile, RM said he appreciates seeing their fans supporting them “even with a hot weather” during their tours so he’d want to see that again.

“I’d like to visit again as soon as possible to hear the cheers of ARMYs in the Philippines,” he said.

J-Hope agreed as he stated that he loves the Philippines and it “can’t be left out for (their) Southeast Asia tour.”

According to Jimin, they are very well aware of the efforts that their fans are doing so yes, ARMYs, they do notice you and the maknae Jungkook is “very grateful.”

“We know very well that you are always sending us messages through social media,” he said.

“You are also doing various activities such as uploading videos that cover our songs or dances and participating in competitions,” he added.

While almost all of them talked about visiting the country for a possible concert, Jin said he dreams of touring the Philippines as a “vacation spot.”

Suga then stated that he’s fond of watching Philippine basketball recently because he finds its level and the Filipinos’ love for it “very high.”

The group recently held their third online concert “Bang Bang Con 2021” which surpassed a whopping 2.7 million concurrent viewers.

BTS’ last concert in the Philippines, “BTS Live Trilogy Episode III: The Wings Tour In Manila,” was back in 2017.
