'Captain America 4' reportedly in the works
It looks like the Captain America name won't be dying with Steve Rogers!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the a fourth installment of Marvel's "Captain America" franchise is in the works, and that it will be penned by Malcolm Spellman, the head writer and creator of "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier."
Spellman will supposedly co-write the script with Dalan Musson, a staff writer on said show.
No castings for the film are officially known.
In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Captain America or Steve Rogers was played by Chris Evans up until the phenomenal "Avengers: Endgame," where the hero handed off his iconic shield to Sam Wilson, played by Anthony Mackie.
Mackie wielded the shield in the Disney+ series "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier," which also starred Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes.
The series, which premiered on March 19, just recently aired its finale. —JCB, GMA News
