Finn Wittrock is the new Green Lantern in upcoming series

A “Green Lantern” series is in the works at HBO Max, and “American Horror Story” actor Finn Wittrock has been cast as its lead star.

The Emmy-nominated actor confirmed the news on Instagram, saying he’s “beyond excited to join the Green Lantern universe as Guy Gardner.”

According to Variety , the series is based on the original DC Comics property and has been reported to be in development since 2019.

Wittrock is best known for his collaborations with Ryan Murphy, including multiple seasons of the thriller series “American Horror Story,” for which he was nominated for an Emmy in 2015.
