Miss Universe 2020 host Nick Teplitz tries on Rabiya Mateo’s wings

Looks like Rabiya Mateo wasn’t the only one who had fun in her national costume for Miss Universe 2020.

The host, Nick Teplitz, just posted photos from the national costume event on Friday, which included one of himself wearing the Filipino beauty queen’s massive wings.

“Who wore it better?” he captioned it.

Nick also shared a fun photo with his co-host, Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi.

Rabiya brought Pinoy pride to the international stage by showcasing a Philippine flag-inspired costume created by the late Rocky Gathercole in collaboration with fellow designer Manny Halasan.

Creative director Jonas Gaffud earlier revealed that the ensemble weighed more than 20 kilos.

After grabbing the internet’s attention with her gorgeous costume and “Victoria’s Secret angel” vibe, Rabiya got emotional while giving a message to her fans on Instagram Live.

The best costume award will be given during the Miss Universe coronation night on May 16 at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
