This 'Attack on Titan' print now holds the record for largest comic book published
The Titan-sized edition of the "Attack on Titan" manga just got named as the largest comic book published by the Guinness World Records.
Japanese publishing company Kodansha printed the first two chapters in a book that measured 1,000 millimeters by 703 millimeters.
The manga weighed 13.75 kilograms, the Guinness website said.
"Attack on Titan" has held the record as of April 13.
According to Anime News Network, all 100 copies of the limited-edition printing reportedly sold out in two minutes when they went on sale on March 6.
The copies cost 165,000 yen each.
Popular manga "Attack on Titan," created by Hajime Isayama, ended last April 9 after being serialized for over 11 years.
Set in a world where humans live behind walls that protect them from giant monsters, the story follows Eren Yeager who makes it his life mission to exterminate the deadly Titans. —JCB, GMA News
