Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray and Binibining Pilipinas 2016 Nicole Cordoves are set to become the “first-all female” tandem to host the Binibining Pilipinas pageant.
The beauty queens made the announcement Saturday, saying they would be sharing hosting duties at the upcoming Binibining Pilipinas 2021.
Sharing a photo of themselves looking fierce in one-piece black swimsuits, Catriona wrote: “Pageantry Redefined. Nicole Cordoves and I are your first all-female hosting tandem in herstory for Binibining Pilipinas 2021.”
Nicole, who posted the same photo, said: “This is a revolution.”
In February 2020, Binibining Pilipinas introduced the candidates who would be vying for five crowns: Globe, Supranational, Intercontinental, Grand International, and International.
Initially postponed due to the pandemic, the coronation night will be held on July 11, 9:45 p.m., at Smart Araneta Coliseum, and streamed on the Binibining Pilipinas’ YouTube channel. – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
