It's no secret that many of us have grown attached to our pillows and blankets now that working from home is the new normal.
If you have been spending a lot of time on the bed, however, it is important to make sure that your pillows and blankets are fresh and clean.
Sure, we wash the pillow cases and blankets regularly, but what else can we do?
Here are a few tips shared by cleaning expert Christine in an episode of "Unang Hirit."
1. Wash pillows every three months to prevent skin irritation and pimples and get rid of dust mites and bed bugs.
2. Use warm water to clean the pillows. Handwash latex pillows to maintain the form.
3. Use baking soda or vinegar to remove the smell. Vinegar can also help make the blankets softer.
4. Add salt in the detergent so the color of the fabric won't fade.
