National Planetarium Exhibition Hall reopens to the public on July 1
As Metro Manila eases restrictions, the National Planetarium Exhibition Hall is officially reopening to the public on Thursday, July 1.
The National Museum of the Philippines made the announcement through a Facebook post on Wednesday.
Walk-in visitors are allowed but there is a limit of 20 persons per session to follow safety protocols due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with 30 minutes in each session.
In addition, they said Planetarium shows are temporarily not available.
They also said that only guests aged 15 years old and above, including those with disabilities, will be admitted.
Meanwhile, senior citizens who are fully vaccinated will also be accepted upon presentation of their COVID-19 full vaccination card.
Planetarium will also be following usual safety procedures, such as not allowing persons with temperature of 37.5ºC and above to enter.
Wearing of face masks and face shields, as well as social distancing of at least 2 meters between persons who do not belong to the same household are also required.
In a pre-recorded Cabinet briefing, presidential spokesman Harry Roque said Metro Manila was recommended to be under GCQ with some restrictions.
According to the briefing, indoor tourist attractions, specifically historical situated museums defined by DOT, are allowed to operate on 40% capacity.
