What do Binibining Pilipinas candidates do outside pageantry?

Outside the glitz and glamour of being a beauty queen, Binibining Pilipinas candidates are quite the busy bunch with interesting day jobs — and amazing dreams.

In an exclusive interview with GMA News Online, some 34 Binbinis shared fun facts about themselves, including what they do outside being a beauty queen or what they wish to be.

Candidate no. 6 Shannon Tampon of Caloocan said she is often seen at construction sites because she is a...mechanical contractor.

Candidate no. 18 Ma. Ruth Erika Quin of Nueva Ecija is a clinical veterinarian and would treat dogs, cats, and other exotic animals including snakes, rodents and rabbits.

Candidate no. 17 Hannah Arnold of Masbate proudly shared that she is a sleep scientist who watches "people sleep to make sure they are breathing and I can help give them treatment."

Candidate no. 29 Alexandra Faith Garcia of Olongapo City is an entrepreneur and a triathlete.

Meanwhile, candidate no. 8 Patricia Denise Babista of Quezon Province shared her ambition of becoming a banker and "hopefully one day I will be a charter financial analyst and sana on the side I will be a race car driver."

The grand coronation event will happen on July 11 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. It hosted by Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray and Miss Grand International 2016 1st runner-up Nicol Cordoves.

This year’s pageant will crown four queens with the titles of Binibining Pilipinas International, Binibining Pilipinas Grand International, Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental, and Binibining Pilipinas Globe.

Binibining Pilipinas 2021 Grand Coronation Night will live streamed on YouTube.
