Girls' Generation's Taeyeon dreams of the 'Weekend' in music video

Girls' Generation's Taeyeon is back with a refreshing track!

On Tuesday, Taeyeon dropped her new single "Weekend" along with its dreamy music video, where she's seen looking forward to her break filled with pink skies and relaxation.

According to a Soompi report, the new single expresses "the wish to escape the dullness of everyday life and enjoy a carefree weekend."

As of writing, the video has reached over 480,000 views. The hashtag #WEEKENDwithTAEYEON is also the top trending topic on Philippine Twitter with over 93,000 tweets.

Taeyeon released her fourth mini album "What Do I Call You" in December last year. She made her solo debut in October 2015 with album "I."
