Candy Pangilinan’s son Quentin is training as an altar server

Candy Pangilinan is one proud mom to her son Quentin, who is now training as an altar server.

On Instagram, Sunday, the actress and comedienne shared a series of photos from Quentin’s experience.

“Quentin’s [first] day of training as altar server,” she wrote in the caption of her post.

A few days ago, Candy shared photos of Quentin sitting in with altar boys at church, saying that she’s hopeful for him to join the group soon.

“He couldn't stop himself to join the altar boys [even if he’s just sitting in]. The boys are so generous enough to make him stay with them,” she wrote.

“I hope I can find someone to train Quentin to be an official altar server soon,” she added.

According to Candy, she was “touched” and thankful that the lay ministers welcomed him then.

“They told him to wear polo and black pants so he (can) join the lay ministers pew,” she wrote.

“It's good to find a community who would embrace and accept your child with respect and dignity,” she added towards the end of her post.

It was followed by photos of Quentin at church, saying that the head altar server in their parish has already agreed to letting him join them.

“Quentin’s training will start after Novena masses. Now, he’s joining altar servers to observe,” she wrote in the caption in Filipino.

As of writing, several celebrities including Kyline Alcantara and Nikki Valdez have given their support for the 17-year-old child through the comments section.
