Syrian-Filipino Naelah Alshorbaji of Parañaque City crowned Miss Philippines Earth 2021

Syrian-Filipino Naelah Alshorbaji of Parañaque City was crowned as Miss Philippines Earth 2021 on Sunday, besting over 60 candidates at the virtual beauty pageant.

Three other queens were crowned: Sofia Lopez Galve of Tanay, Rizal was hailed as Miss Philippines Ecotourism; Roni Meneses of Mandaluyong City as Miss Philippines Fire; and Rocel Angelah Songano of Iloilo City as Miss Philippines Water.

Miss Philippines Earth 2020 Roxanne Allison Baeyens will turn over her crown to Naelah.

Naelah is set to represent the Philippines at the international stage for the Miss Earth 2021 pageant.

According to her Instagram bio, Naelah was the Miss Parañaque in 2019 and the Miss Manila fourth runner-up in 2017.

This is the second Miss Philippines Earth pageant that was held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
