Manila Luzon opens auditions for 'Drag Den Philippines'


It's official: Manila Luzon is starting a Filipino drag race contest!

The "Ru Paul's Drag Race" all-star just announced that "Drag Den Philippines" will be crowning soon on WeTV, and auditions will be open from August 16 to August 31, 2021.

For a chance to become the "Philippine Drag Supreme," Manila says you have to be 18 years old and above, with "good makeup skills," "a pleasing personality" and "a desire for an exciting new life."

Those who wish to join "Drag Den Philippines" were also asked to follow the following mechanics from August 16 to 31, 2021 at 11:59 p.m.

Step 1: Applicants need to create a drag transformation or talent performance video. It needs to be a maximum of three minutes long, and shows your "best before and after drag transformation look."

Step 2: Applicants need to create their own TikTok account to upload a video introduction. The applicant must include their drag name, age, city, favorite quote etc. Be reminded to tag @dragdenph and @wetvphilippines, and use the hashtag #DragDenPHAuditions.

Step 3: Applicants must fill out this online form.
