BLACKPINK becomes most subscribed artist on YouTube
BLACKPINK is not yet done breaking records!
On Friday, the South Korean girl group garnered 65.3 million subscribers on YouTube, making them the most followed artist on the streaming platform.
According to a Soompi report, BLACKPINK had the second most subscribed artist channel as of September 2020, with Justin Bieber claiming the top spot.
This year, however, the K-Pop group surpassed Bieber's followers.
"We can't believe it. It's a miracle-like moment created by BLINK (BLACKPINK's fandom). We want to share this honor with our fans around the world who always love and support us," said BLACKPINK.
"As this is a result that we accomplished together with our fans, we hope fans will also share this joy. We will become artists who continue to give positive energy through good music and videos," they added.
BLACKPINK's channel was created in June 2016.
Earlier today, Lisa dropped her solo debut album "LALISA."
