New 'Dragon Ball Super' film releases trailer, introduces new characters


In case you missed it, a new "Dragon Ball Super" anime film is headed your way!

Toei Animation unveiled the trailer for "Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero" during the New York Comic Con event on Thursday.

According to Anime News Network, the film will center on the "superhero" aspect.

 

Original creator Akira Toriyama penned the screenplay for the film.

The "Dragon Ball Super" anime ended its run in 2018, the same year that "Dragon Ball Super: Broly" hit theaters.

In 2019, rumors about the second film hit the internet when Akio Iyoku, director of Shueisha's Dragon Ball Unit with Shueisha, said they're "steadily preparing for the next movie. —JCB, GMA News
