Park Seo Jun thrills Filipino fans via fan meet; 5 things to know about the actor

Park Seo Jun just thrilled his Filipino fans via a live and exclusive fan meet!

On Saturday, fans were treated to an afternoon with the South Korean actor as he guested on Smart Communications’ “Hallyu Hangouts” virtual event.

The “Itaewon Class” actor got up close and personal as he answered questions from fans, some of whom were also treated to photo ops and one-on-one with the actor via Zoom.

During the activity, we learned that Seo Jun was painfully shy, as he turned speechless every time he was praised for his work and his good looks.

Here are five more things we learned about Park Seo Jun from today’s meet and greet:

1. He’s still jet-lagged after returning from England.

The actor said he was having difficulty adjusting to the time back in Korea because he spent two months in England to shoot a film.

2. He has two upcoming films.

Seo Jun is set to star in two new films: “Dream,” which he shot in England, and “Concrete Utopia,” which he filmed in Korea.

Asked about how he chose his television and film projects, he said he used to decide based on the character alone. Now, he also looks at the message of the story and if it will be entertaining for the viewers.

3. His personal goal

Many actors stay in showbiz and become veterans at their craft, while some venture to other related activities like directing and producing shows.

For Seo Jun, however, no matter what happens in the future, he just wants to be a good person. He said he just wanted to be a good son, be someone who did his work well, and be someone who’s a good influence to others.

4. When he’s at home, where does he stay the most?

Seo Jun said that when he’s at home, he stayed at their living room most of the time. He said he lived with his parents, and being at the living room gave them more time to be together.

According to the actor, it’s because when he has work, they hardly see each other even if they live in the same house.

5. What would he be if he were not an actor?

Seo Jun said he never really saw himself doing something else, because since he was young, he had always wanted to be an actor.

In September, Park Seo Jun was confirmed to be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe as his agency announced that he flew out of Korea to shoot a Marvel film. Before that, reports had circulated that he was offered a role in a “Captain Marvel” sequel.

Last year, he was named one of the celebrity endorsers of Smart Communications.

Debuting in 2012, Park Seo Jun is known for his work on “Hwarang,” “Fight For My Way” and “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim,” among other TV dramas and films. – GMA News
