BTS shares highlights of ‘Permission to Dance On Stage’ LA concert

BTS has shared the highlights of the first two nights of their “Permission to Dance On Stage” concert held Nov. 27-28 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California.

On Tuesday, the BTS official YouTube channel posted a two-minute summary of the performances during the concert, the group’s first in front of a live audience after almost two years.

With a larger than life LED screen as their backdrop, BTS performed to the 70,000-capacity stadium their hits “On,” “Fire,” and “Dope,” among other songs.

The cheers grew louder as the members changed into black torso-baring tops for “Black Swan” and “Fake Love.”

They also performed their chart-topping song “Dynamite,” which was followed by a dance break before segueing to “Butter.”

The video clip also showed BTS performing both old and new songs, such as “Baepsae,” “Dis-ease,” “Stay,” “So What,” “Save Me,” and “Idol.”

During the show, BTS asked the audience to raise their light sticks simultaneously by row to create a wave, weaving a magical display of light.

Before saying goodbye, the group sang their last songs for the night, including the crowd anthem “Answer: Love Myself.”

Since Day 1, the concert has been trending online, with many fans sharing their experiences and video clips taken at the venue.

According to fans’ posts, the set list was almost identical to the concert’s online edition staged last month in Seoul, with its last song being “Permission to Dance.”

On Day 2, it was revealed that Megan Thee Stallion made a special appearance and performed her “Butter” remix with BTS.

“Surprise! Did you enjoy the special stage with Megan Thee Stallion?” BTS tweeted.

“Last night was everything,” she also posted. “Thank you to my friends BTS for having meee.”
