25th 'Detective Conan' film is arriving April 2022


We're close to getting a 25th installment in the "Detective Conan" film franchise!

According to Anime News Network, the upcoming film is titled "Detective Conan: The Bride of Halloween," as per an issue of Weekly Shonen Sunday.

It will open in Japan theaters on April 15, 2022.

Headlining the film are police academy characters Rei Furuya, Jinpei Matsuda, Wataru Date, Kenji Hagiwara, and Hiromitsu Morofushi.

 

 

 

The previous film, "Detective Conan: The Scarlet Bullet," hit the big screen last April 16.

"Detective Conan," based on the manga by Gosho Aoyama, follows high school detective Shinichi Kudo who shrunk into a child's body while investigating a criminal organization. Deciding to hide his real identity to prevent the organization from going after him again, he goes on to figure out the people who shrank him, solving a multitude of cases along the way.
