5 Seconds of Summer to release new single ‘2011’ in celebration of 10th anniversary

5 Seconds of Summer or 5SOS will be releasing a new single to mark their 10th anniversary!

In a Facebook post on Wednesday, the band announced that they would be releasing their new song "2011" for their fans and shared a photo of themselves lying down on a tiled floor covered in confetti.

"This Friday we’re releasing a new song called 2011, just for you," said 5SOS.

"We wrote 2011 to celebrate 10 years of this band, 10 years of adventures through life, and most of all, 10 years of you, our fans," they added.

"We love you, and we can’t wait for the next 10."

5 Seconds of Summer, known for their hit songs "Amnesia" and "She Looks So Perfect," debuted in 2011. Their new single is set to come out this Dec. 3. – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
