Andi Eigenmann’s family to donate vlog earnings to their ‘home’ Siargao

Andi Eigenmann’s family is dedicated to making sure Siargao, their home, stands back up after the devastation brought about by Typhoon Odette.

On Wednesday, Andi announced that they would be donating their earnings from their Christmas vlogs.

“We are grateful that our family and friends are safe, but most of them have lost their homes and are in need of food, water, among others,” she wrote on Instagram.

“We’ll be using our earnings from our coming videos to help slowly rebuild our island home. Siargao has brought so much magic to my life and this will be our way of giving back to our community, to our home.”

Andi said the videos would consist of Ellie’s 10th birthday until their last days on the island before flying to Manila for what they thought would just be a “week-long vacation.”

Typhoon Odette made landfall in Siargao on Dec. 16, displacing residents and tourists and causing injury and heavy damage to structures, including the home of Andi and her fiancé Philmar Alipayo.

Nevertheless, Andi said they had made efforts to extend help and Philmar had returned to Siargao.

Meanwhile, she and her three children, Ellie, Lilo, and Koa, are still staying in Manila. – Franchesca Viernes/RC, GMA News
