Did Jason Abalos really use his and Vickie Rushton's ID pictures to issue a New Year greeting?

Haha, that's funny Jason Abalos.

The Kapuso actor displayed his brand of humor on Instagram by greeting everybody a happy new year using...ID pictures of him and his girlfriend Vickie Rushton.

As though to poke fun at all the posed family photos this Holiday season, Jason simply put what looks like a 2x2 ID picture next to Vickie's and said a formal, "Wishing you all a Happy new year with joy and peace." 

Signing it as from "Baba in Negros and Baba in Manila," Jason also wrote a postscript: "Magkakaron din kami ng family picture," he said complete with a wacky face emoji.

It looks like a hit among his followers. The comment section is a sputtering of hahahas, with Vickie saying, as she laughed, "2x2 pa talaga."
