"Twenty Five Twenty One" starring Nam Joo Hyuk and Kim Tae Ri is set to drop on Netflix this Sunday, so here's everything you need to know:

1. The story is set in the 1998 Asian Financial Crisis

You might want a box of tissues, because "Twenty Five Twenty One" takes place in South Korea when it was hit by a tumultuous financial crisis that took a serious toll on the country's economy and society.

As director Jung Jeehyun described it, this period was an extremely difficult time for many, and the romantic drama tells the story of five young people whose dreams were put on hold.

2. Nam Joo Hyuk plays a struggling breadwinner

From playing an aspiring olympic swimmer in "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" to a genius programmer in "Start-Up," Nam Joo Hyuk shows us yet another side  of himself in "Twenty Five Twenty One."

The versatile Korean actor assumes the role of Back Yi Jin, the eldest son of a broken family who becomes the breadwinner for his family as he pursues a career as a journalist.

3. Actress Kim Tae Ri plays fencer Na Hee Do

Somewhere in the turbulent era, Nam Joo Hyuk meets a sword-wielding heroine — a passionate young fencer named Na Hee Do.

"Mr. Sunshine" actress Kim Tae Ri takes the audience on an emotional journey of an aspiring athlete whose fencing team was disbanded due to the financial crisis.

Despite the troubling situation, the '90s were known as a loud and colorful time for fashion, so get ready to see Nam Joo Hyuk and the cast in some very nostalgic wardrobe.

The trailer already gives us a glimpse of nostalgic hairstyles, baggy pants and Nam Joo Hyuk in a very cool-looking convertible.

5. Failure and success in 'difficult times'

Sometimes, we need to look back to truly appreciate what's right in front of us.

"Anyone can fail and anyone can succeed. That also applies to the world we’re living in now," director Jung said in a press conference this week. "And so, looking at our show I hope you can bring back the memories of your past and appreciate your present."

Nam Joo Hyuk also said he hopes "Twenty Five Twenty One" would provide the audience with warmth amidst this "very cold winter."
