'Classroom of the Elite' Season 2 confirmed, more details to come in March

It's official: "Classroom of the Elite" will be returning for a second season!

The franchise's official Twitter account made the announcement Monday with a poster for the upcoming continuation to the pilot season.

"The sequel to the TV anime has been decided. Thank you to everyone who supported us," the caption read, as translated from Japanese.

A presentation bearing more details about Season 2 will be livestreamed through the Kadokawa Anime's official YouTube account on March 6.

"Classroom of the Elite" circles on Kiyotaka, who finds out just how merit-based the education system is when he enters an elite government-sponsored high school.

All 12 episodes of "Classroom of the Elite" Season 1 are available for streaming on Netflix.
