This solutions company lets you rent storage and parking with just a few clicks

Because of sentimental value, Filipinos tend to have a habit of keeping things they don't really need or use anymore, and Marie Kondo is definitely not going to be proud (Sorry, Marie! Keeping things spark joy for Filipinos!).

Naturally, stocking things up for a long time leads to cramped, cluttered homes, which is why storage companies are slowly making their way as the top-of-mind solution for situations like this.

Leeveit, one of the pioneering storage solution companies in the Philippines, has a digital platform for all sorts of spaces.

For those looking for a storage or parking place or those who have an extra space they want to rent out, Leeveit aims to make it more convenient for them with just a few clicks on their device.

Founded by Joey Consenheim, Sulficio Tagud Jr., and Jean Michel Chemaly, Leeveit was born with the vision of becoming the go-to solution and digital platform for storage and parking needs.

The concept was born in 2017 and in May 2019, the founders launched the platform then known as LeeveitWme. A pandemic later, they rebranded with the goal of innovating and modernizing space solutions for Filipinos.

"Leeveit is a storage solutions company for people who are willing to have their extra space rented, and for people who need to rent extra storage or parking. [So] whether you are an online seller, a small company, a big corporation, or just someone who simply needs to declutter their stuff or park their car, Leeveit is for you," said Consenheim.

At Leeveit, Keepers are those who list their extra storage or parking, while those who rent listed spaces are called Leevers.

"Having worked in the logistics industry in the Philippines, we noticed that most storage solutions here are not flexible. Either they are too expensive or too far for the customer," Consenheim said.

"At the same time, houses are becoming smaller, but the things people keep close to them are not getting any less; such as seasonal items like Christmas decorations or recreational stuff, collections, and other memorabilia. So creating cheap solutions close to the end customer and people who need space, while enabling progress and creating opportunities for others is a great concept in our eyes."

For those who couldn't let go of the habit of hoarding, he advised: "Make sure that you stick to keeping what has essential value to you. Interestingly, something may not be valuable to you now, but it may be in the future. So keep the stuff close to you that gives you joy daily. Do away with things you don't need at all or will not need in the future. As for everything else, you can put them someplace else, somewhere close to your own place."
