Avril Lavigne marks 20 years since debuting with her iconic song 'Complicated'

It has been 20 years since "Complicated" dropped!

Avril Lavigne took to social media to mark the 20th anniversary of the iconic song, which was also her debut single.

"Holy f-ck! #Complicated was released 20 years ago today. I could have never imagined the places this song would take me," she wrote.

"I am so grateful to you guys always and 4-ever for embracing my music and showing me so much love then, and still now, 20 years later," she added.

"Complicated," released in 2002, was the lead single from Avril's debut album "Let Go."

The song was nominated for two Grammy Awards for Song of the Year and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.

Some of the other hit tracks from Avril's first album were "Sk8er Boy" and "I'm With You."

Just last month, Avril released her seventh studio album "Love Sux." It's her first studio album in three years since "Head Above Water." —JCB, GMA News
