Post Malone, One Ok Rock, TXT, Carly Rae Jepsen to perform at Japan’s Summer Sonic festival

Japan’s Summer Sonic music festival has announced its return after three long years!

On Wednesday, the organizers announced the festival’s latest lineup, which included big names such as Post Malone, The 1975, and One Ok Rock.

The festival will also feature Carly Rae Jepsen, Megan Thee Stallion, Tomorrow X Together or TXT, Maneskin, and many other artists.

Summer Sonic founder Naoki Shimizu said the festival was “going to make a full and strong comeback.”

“Festivals overseas like Coachella are coming up very soon and moving forward to reach this goal. We cannot win back the time we lost, but please give us a chance to make it up!” he said in a statement.

Summer Sonic will be held at Maishima Sonic Park in Osaka, and Zozo Marine Stadium and Makuhari Messe in Tokyo on Aug. 20-21. – RC, GMA News
