'One Piece' drops teaser for new movie 'Film Red'

"One Piece" just unveiled a new teaser video for the upcoming movie "One Piece Film Red."

A report on Crunchyroll said that this will be the first film to be overseen and written by creator Eiichiro Oda.

The trailer introduces the "most beloved singer in the world," a young girl named Uta — who turns out to be Shanks' daughter.

According to the synopsis, Uta will appear in public for the first time at a live concert, which Luffy and the Straw Hats attend.

Oda's long-running manga "One Piece" follows Luffy and the Straw Hat pirates, a group that sets off to find the treasure known as One Piece so he can become the king of the pirates.

It has spawned an anime series and movies, with a Netflix live-adaptation on the way, since it was serialized in 1997. —JCB, GMA News
