Pinoy students from Georgia Tech put modern twist to tinikling

Filipino students from Georgia Institute of Technology in the United States put their own Gen Z twist to Pinoy folk dance tinikling.

According to a report on "24 Oras Weekend," Saturday, the students combined the traditional tinikling moves with modern music and choreography.

"Through this event, we wanted to exhibit the Filipino culture to our univetrrsity, which we felt lacked significant Filipino representation," said Erin Floresca, one of the officers of the Georgia Tech Filipino Student Association.
