'Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero' to hit Philippine theaters this summer

The new "Dragon Ball" film is coming to Philippine theaters this summer!

From Crunchyroll and Toei Animation, "Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero" is the second film in the Dragon Ball Super franchise following "Dragon Ball Super: Broly" in 2018.

According to a statement, this will be the first globally-distributed theatrical release for Crunchyroll.

Directed by Tetsuro Kodama, the story is centered on two Androids, Gamma 1 and Gamma 2, who call themselves “Super Heroes," and start attacking Piccolo and Gohan.

"Dragon Ball" creator Akira Toriyama was heavily involved with the film’s original story, screenplay and character design. —JCB, GMA News
