Doug Kramer is one proud dad as son Gavin plays basketball face-to-face after 2 years

Doug Kramer couldn’t be any prouder as his son Gavin goes back to playing basketball face-to-face after two years.

Sharing photos of his 9-year-old looking like he’s about to follow dad’s footsteps, Doug noted his observations about his son’s performance.

“So proud of Gavin! Today marked his first time in [two] years for [face-to-face] basketball,” said Doug, a former professional basketball player.

“He's still young, so skills are still to be developed, but what I loved about him was how intent he was listening to his coaches for instruction. He would also follow his teammates in line to make sure he’d get the drills right when it would be his turn.”

Though Gavin still had a long way to go, Doug said he was proud that his son’s “attitude to learn and eagerness to improve is evident.”

As Gavin embarked on this chapter of his life, Doug had this to say: “Papa, Mama, and [your] Ates are right behind you to cheer you on.”

In the comments, meanwhile, Gavin’s mom Chesca Garcia wrote: “Baby boy, Mama is so happy for you! It’s about time!”

As Gavin indulges his interest in basketball, it sure looks like dad Doug is going to be present in every step of the way.
