Taeil of NCT 127 to skip Nagoya concert after testing positive for COVID-19

Taeil of NCT 127 will be missing the group’s concert at Vantelin Dome Nagoya in Japan as he tests positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

The K-Pop group made the announcement Wednesday through its website and Twitter account.

“Currently, he has no fever and is asymptomatic, but he has decided not to perform this performance according to the instructions of the health center,” said the announcement.

“We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to everyone who supports NCT 127 and TAEIL, and thank you for your understanding.”

Meanwhile, Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Jungwoo, Mark, and Haechan will proceed with their concert as scheduled on Sunday.

As of writing, Taeil is the top trending topic on Philippine Twitter with over 91,000 tweets from fans wishing the idol a fast recovery.

NCT 127’s “Neo City: Japan - The Link” tour will also be held at Tokyo Dome and at Kyocera Dome Osaka.
