Netflix releases the first 8 minutes of 'Stranger Things 4' online for free

This is not a drill — the first eight minutes of "Stranger Things 4" are out!

Netflix just uploaded the lengthy clip on YouTube and its social media pages.

Additionally, they revealed how the upcoming season will be split.

Volume 1 will have seven episodes premiering on May 27. Volume 2 will feature the last two episodes and will premiere on July 1.

The last episode, Ep. 9, will be a 2.5-hour epic.

In the Season 4 trailer, it is revealed that a "war" is coming to Hawkins. It also introduced the big boss: one of Dungeons and Dragons' most powerful villains, Vecna.
