Here's a peek at Netflix's upcoming anime adaptation of 'Tekken'
"Tekken" is getting the anime treatment at Netflix!
During the Netflix Geeked 2022, the streaming giant announced that it will be adapting the iconic Japanese game franchise into a series called "Tekken: Bloodline."
Chief Producer Katsuhiro Harada unveiled some exclusive clips from the show, which focuses on Jin Kazama and the life he had with his mother Jun.
"The 'Tekken' story has continued for a long time, but actually in the entire time video games have been made, 'Tekken' has had the longest-running video game storyline," Harada said.
"That's how grand this story is, and now it's being adapted into an anime series for the first time," he added.
"Tekken: Bloodline" will follow Jin Kazama, who learned the family self-defense arts, Kazama-Style Traditional Martial Arts, from his mother at an early age.
When a monster evil destroys everything dear to him, he seeks absolute power to exact it. His quest will lead to the ultimate battle on a global stage — The King of Iron Fist Tournament.
