'Knives Out' sequel 'Glass Onion' will uncover a mystery in Greece

The "Knives Out" sequel film finally got an official title!

Netflix just announced that it will be called "Glass Onion," and yes, it will see the return of Daniel Craig as Detective Benoit Blanc.

According to the official synopsis, Benoit Blanc will travel to Greece to ""peel back the layers of a mystery involving a new cast of colorful suspects.

According to the announcement video, it will arrive on Netflix during the holiday season.

Director Rian Johnson announced that filming began in July last year.

The cast includes Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Jessica Henwick, Madelyn Cline with Kate Hudson and Dave Bautista.

“Knives Out” (2019) is a murder mystery film that explores the circumstances of the tragic death of the patriarch of the wealthy and dysfunctional Thrombey family.

The first film starred Daniel Craig as Detective Benoit Blanc, and an all-star cast that includes Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis, Christopher Plummer, Toni Colette, Katherine Langford and Jaeden Martell. —JCB, GMA News
