Bretman Rock's MTV reality show is getting a second season

Bretman Rock announced that his hit reality show “MTV’s Following: Bretman Rock” will be getting a second season.

The Filipino social media icon wrote on Instagram, “Letting y’all into my life once again and I can’t wait for you guys to see this season.”

Based on the teaser, Bretman will once again keep it real and let viewers into his new unfiltered adventures — all the laughs, looks, arguments, and drama.

The teaser touches on Bretman’s difficult relationship with his sister, past traumas, burnout, emotional exhaustion, and his budding business empire.

“Will Bretman be able to repair his life or will the demands of stardom tear him down?” the video description said.

“MTV’s Following: Bretman Rock” follows the beauty guru behind his huge social media presence, as he opened up about his relationships with his family and closest friends, especially his sister Princess Mae and cousin Miss Kay.

The first season became an online hit when its weekly episodes premiered on YouTube in February 2021.

It was nominated for Outstanding Reality Show at the GLAAD Awards and in the Best Reality category at the Webby Awards. Last year, Bretman also won Breakthrough Social Star at the MTV Awards.

The new season of “MTV’s Following: Bretman Rock” is set to premiere on June 27, Monday at 4 a.m. (Manila time) on MTV’s YouTube channel. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA News
