'Solo Leveling' anime confirmed, drops teaser trailer


It's now confirmed: hit Korean webtoon "Solo Leveling" is finally getting an anime!

A teaser trailer was released on Monday, revealing more details about the upcoming series.

Based on the original web novel of Chugong and illustrations by Dubu, the anime will produced by A-1 Pictures, the studio behind "Sword Art Online."

The director will be Shunsuke Nakashige and music will be done by Hiroyuki Sawano.

"Solo Leveling" follows the story of Sung Jinwoo, a weak hunter who struggles to survive in a world full of monsters but becomes stronger after he accepts a mysterious quest.  

The web novel was first serialized in 2016 and the webtoon adaptation was serialized in 2018.
