Jessi to hold her first Manila concert in September

It’s who you’ve been waiting for, Filo-Jebbies — Jessi is coming to Manila this September!

According to concert producers Be You, the Korean-American rap star will be having her first Manila concert on September 30th. Venue and ticket prices have yet to be announced.

On her Instagram Stories, Jessi confirmed that she will be heading to the country, simply writing “See you soon Philippines #ZoomInManila,” with a red heart emoji.

Known as one of South Korea’s top rappers and entertainment personalities, Jessi is the boss behind the viral hits “ZOOM” and “NUNU NANA.” Her other hits include “Cold Blooded” and “What Type of X.”

Jessi was also featured in Ed Sheeran’s single “Shivers” along with Korean singer SUNMI.

Apart from being one of the pioneers of the Korean rap scene, Jessi is also active in variety shows. She previously hosted the talk show “ShowTerview” on YouTube which was in partnership with TV channel SBS. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA News
