AiAi delas Alas brings baking business to California

AiAi delas Alas has brought Martina’s Bread & Pastries, her small business, to San Francisco, California.

“Hello mga kababayans and [Kapuso], friends, and kapitbahay. [Game] na ulit ang ube pandesal at milk buns,” the comedy queen shared on Instagram.

“Iyan muna dahil baka hindi kayanin ng katawang lupa ko,” she joked. However, the actress told her followers to wait for further announcements for other products.

“One woman baking lang ’to, [meaning] ako lahat,” AiAi said.

The “Raising Mamay” star posted details of pre-orders and meet-ups on her page. She is currently selling only within San Francisco and encouraged customers to message her privately instead of commenting their orders.

AiAi launched Martina’s in 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Apart from ube pandesal and milk buns, she also sold different flavors of cookies, ube crinkles, cindesal with cream cheese, and Bao o’ Spam.

In 2021, AiAi graduated from Treston International College’s Academy of Pastry and Culinary Arts, where she completed a short course in Pastry and Bakery Arts. – RC, GMA News
