Jackson Wang is burning hot in ‘Cruel’ music video

Flames, stunts, and badass choreography—these are what Jackson Wang’s music video for “Cruel” is all about.

The devilish and out-of-this-world aesthetic feels like a mini-movie with its strong visuals.

Set in a burning area, Jackson is covered in ashes as he performs battle-like choreography with a queen and her soldiers. Later on, there’s fire in his eyes and he blows it out of his mouth too.

The solo artist and GOT7 member also served as the video’s writer, creative director, movement director, and choreographer.

“This is ‘Cruel’ guys, [I] hope you all like what I delivered here! I always wanted to try my best to deliver my best by challenging my limit every time,” Jackson wrote on the music video’s comment section.

“All the ones supporting me and showing love, I hope my work can make you all proud and make it worth it for you all. I love you all, and we are so so far from destination, let’s go through it together. I believe we will be there one day,” he said.

“Cruel” is part of Jackson’s upcoming “MAGICMAN” album which will be released on Sept. 9.

Jackson has just arrived for the 2022 K-Pop Masterz in Manila concert to be held July 29 at SM Mall of Asia Arena. He will be performing with fellow GOT7 member BamBam and K-pop group Treasure. – RC, GMA News
