“Brooklyn Nine-Nine” Season 8 is finally coming to Netflix this month!

The streaming platform made the announcement on Thursday, sharing some stills from the well-loved sitcom involving New York detectives.

“Cool, cool, cool, cool, cool. No doubt, no doubt. Brooklyn Nine-Nine season 8 arrives August 13!”

The premiere on Netflix will come a year after the eighth and final season aired on NBC.

Produced by Dan Goor, “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” stars Andy Samberg, Melissa Fumero, Andre Braugher, Stephanie Beatriz, Terry Crews, and Joe Lo Truglio, among other actors.

It first aired on FOX in 2013 before getting canceled after five seasons. After the cancellation received a strong reaction from fans online, the series was rescued by NBC, where it started airing in 2019. – RC, GMA News
