Will 'The Flash' get canceled? Warner Bros. mulls options amid Ezra Miller issue

As Ezra Miller becomes more problematic by the day, Warner Bros. is mulling over the fate of "The Flash."

The film is slated for release on June 23, 2023, but according to a report on The Hollywood Reporter, it might get scrapped as a last resort.

Miller, however, is speculated to be seeking professional help.

"If that happens, Miller, who goes by they/them pronouns, could give an interview at some point explaining their erratic behavior over the past few years," the report said. "The actor could then do limited press for The Flash, and the movie would open in cinemas as planned. "

It added that should that fall through, Warner Bros. could still release the film without Miller's participation in promotions.

The role of Flash would also be recast for future projects.

If Miller's situation further deteriorates, the film, which had a budget of $200 million, might be scrapped completely.

Miller was cast as the Flash in 2014, and they appeared in films such as "Suicide Squad" (2016) and "Justice League" (2017).

Over the past couple years, Miller has been making headlines for erratic behavior, such as allegedly choking a fan at an Iceland bar, and getting arrested for harassment in Hawaii.

Earlier this week, the actor was reported to have been charged with a felony burglary in Vermont. —JCB, GMA News
