Alden Richards talks about K-dramas in Bea Alonzo's YouTube Live

Alden Richards surprisingly appeared on Bea Alonzo's first ever live video on YouTube!

On Saturday, Bea took the time to talk to her vlog's followers while getting ready for a photo shoot for "Start-Up."

In the middle of the video, Alden opened the door to the room and joined her in the live. The two then discussed the pressure of doing adaptations.

"Ang benchmark natin 'yung original. Hindi tayo puwedeng gumawa ng mas mababa dun. So it's either at par siya or more than the adaptation," Alden said.

The two actors said it's their first time doing a Korean adaptation. Bea also added that the Philippines is the first to get a franchise for "Start-Up."

The actress then wore her interviewer hat and asked Alden if he has any other franchises, Korean or not, that he wishes to work on.

According to Alden, it's "My Name" starring Han So Hee.

"Since 'yung POV nung series na 'yun is from girl's view, parang ang sarap din gawin siya kung adaptation sa boy naman," he said.

Bea admitted that she has not seen "My Name" yet and asked Alden and her followers to send her other K-drama recommendations.

"Start-Up," which also stars Jeric Gonzales, Yasmien Kurdi, Gina Alajar, and many more, will premiere in September.
